Now, Aimee's
description: Yes, folks, she's a beauty, and compared to the houses
we've had in the past, a virtual non-fixer-upper. That said, there are
certain advantages to being short, and certain disadvantages to being a
little broad in the beam (me, that is). We managed to get her in time for
Bulent's birthday, but if he thinks I'm gift-wrapping her, he's dreamin'!
I think just about enough of his dreams have come true, lately, don't you?
We're registering her as an American vessel, and we get to pick a home
port to paint on her stern. (She was built in California, believe it or
not.) Somehow, I don't think "Silicon Valley" has the right ring to it.
